John C. Hoyle


John Hoyle is a Senior Consultant to Talisman. He has more than 45 years experience in professional management and operational support for decision-making and official record keeping. Mr. Hoyle is the former Secretary of U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and has served as a Senior Program Reviewer for Labat-Anderson, Inc. As secretary of the NRC, he was responsible for providing the Chairman, Commissioners, and Commission management support for decisions, meeting agendas, records, public document access and NRC history. During his NRC career, he served as Chairman of the Licensing Support Network (LSN) Advisory Review Panel which provided advice to the NRC on the design, development and operation of an Internet-based information management system intended to facilitate access to documents related to a high level nuclear waste repository licensing proceeding. Prior to the establishment of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, he served in the Atomic Energy Commission’s Office of Congressional Relations. Mr. Hoyle received a B.A. degree from Georgetown University and a Master of Public Administration from George Washington University.
