Terence Chan is a Nuclear Safety Consultant to Talisman. He has 40 years of nuclear safety experience in the areas of licensing, design, construction, operation and inspection, including 29 years with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). As a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Mr. Chan is very active with the development of codes and standards, serving on a number of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code committees, including the Section XI Standards Committee, Subgroup on Industry Experience for New Plants, and Subgroup on Nondestructive Examination. Mr. Chan has also been an instructor with the ASME Training and Development Program.
He holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
